Job Description

As Catering Staff, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality food and beverage service at a variety of events. You’ll be responsible for setting up dining areas, serving food and drinks, and ensuring that guests have an exceptional culinary experience. You will work closely with other catering team members to maintain a clean and organized environment and ensure smooth event operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up catering areas, including tables, food displays, and drink stations.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in dining and service areas throughout the event.
• Assist in preparing and plating food as needed.
• Ensure guests’ dietary preferences and restrictions are met.
• Monitor food and beverage levels, replenishing as needed.
• Work alongside the event team to ensure all guest needs are met efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations during food handling and service.
• Help with event breakdown and cleaning after the event has concluded.

Requirements

• Previous experience in catering or food service is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team.
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanour in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at events, banquets, or in hospitality.
• Food handling or catering certifications (optional but preferred).
